An introduction to the field of Chemistry Education Research and related Discipline-Based Education Research. This course will explore modern learning theories, research methods, and current trends and challenges in the field, with a strong emphasis on student discussions of the literature. Students will learn how discipline-based education research works, how to read and understand the literature, and what implications the field might have on their own teaching practice or research projects.
