This course is provided for students who have an interest in completing an original research project, from initiating an investigation to communicating the results. This advanced study will be conducted under the supervision of, and in active consultation with, an appropriate faculty member of the School. Regular reporting, literature review, data collection and analysis, and written and oral communication of the results of the project normally will be part of the learning experience. Students wishing to enrol in this elective must submit a proposal to the Associate Dean, Undergraduate (or their designate) for approval, highlighting the work plan and deliverables agreed upon by the student and their supervisor.
