This course will provide candidates with an in-depth analysis and application of leadership in the BC education sectors to develop and build relationships with educators: staff, and stakeholders. The course will apply the BC provisional leadership development framework's educational policies based on the candidate's leadership context. BC leaders' core tasks and roles and the organization of resources by focusing on the five strategic commitments and developing people, building relationships, securing accountability, educational change, and capacity building will be examined and discussed. The course will equip the candidates with strategies, and insights into fostering genuine trusting relationships with students, staff, families, caregivers, and communities, guided by inclusive and respectful practices. The course will conclude with an opportunity for candidates to prepare and design an educational leadership report addressing and mitigating issues related to change or risk management
