Students will learn principles essential in the design of components used in cryogenic applications. Working principles of common cryogenic machines and the engineering behind them will be discussed. Students will design and analyze elements for use in cryogenic systems following a design review process, both as the proponent and reviewer. This course requires prior CAD knowledge.
