This land-based course is for students who are interested in learning how strong relationships with land and water promote holistic health and wellbeing (i.e. mental, physical, spiritual, emotional). Through experiential, collaborative study, students will learn more about Indigenous health promotion, while contributing to Indigenous food and ecosystems locally in support of all our relations. (3.0 credit units) This course is open to students in the Department of Public Health Sciences and Indigenous Knowledges and Perspectives, or with permission from the instructor.
