Behavioral epidemiology is a branch of research that studies the distribution and etiology of health-related behaviors in populations. Unhealthy behaviours contribute to numerous physical, mental, and social health outcomes. In this module, students will gain an in-depth understanding of the behavioural epidemiology framework. This framework outlines a general sequence of research studies about any health-related behaviour that leads to evidence-based public health interventions.
