The equivalent of three full weeks (minimum 90 hours) working with children from 4 -11, including contact with a child who has an exceptionality, if possible. This placement must be completed in a non-traditional setting, such as at-risk programs, Boys & Girls Clubs, Early Primary programs, Library programs, city or county-run education programs, etc. Candidates may choose to complete their placements in a series of half days, three consecutive full-time weeks, or a combination of full and half days over several weeks. Full-time weeks may take place during the fall or winter reading weeks, or at the end of the winter term in May. The placement must be completed in the same academic year. PREREQUISITE: EXPR 110AB
