The course aims to develop your legal skills assessing and solving insurance coverage problems in a variety of insurance law spheres: property, liability, auto, life, health, and disability insurance. The course also introduces how to use fundamental insurance and risk management principles in solving insurance coverage disputes. You will also practice how to navigate problems arising with key issues about insurance law: insurance policy interpretation, insurance causation, broker and agent liability concerns, issues with the duty to defend, subrogation, and overlapping coverage issues.
