Students in LISC 391 will learn the physiological and pharmacological principles of cardiorespiratory sciences and neuroscience, preparing students for undergraduate thesis, graduate-level research, or practical bench science outside of academia. Students will proceed through four guided modules, developing skills to execute multi-step protocols, collect and analyze primary data, be an active participant in 'team science', and exercise critical thinking to develop rational arguments, test hypotheses, identify assumptions and limitations, and communicate using precise, scientific language. NOTE Priority will be given to students registered in a LISC Specialization Plan or BHSc Program.
