This course investigates art, politics, and society in post-Wall Europe. Film is our starting point for exploring topics such as urban, regional, and national imagined communities; post- and para-socialist societies; and mobilities, especially transnational flows of people and culture across borders and along intersectionalities of privilege. NOTE A screening will be made available each week for viewing films.
