This course will provide students with an introduction to vector calculus, analytical, and numerical solution methods for ordinary differential equations. The topics of the course will be presented through problems, models and applications relevant to the Mechanical Engineering Program. On completion of the course students will be able to: manipulate vectors; perform numerical integration; solve first- and higher-order ordinary differential equations analytically and numerically.
