A topical course in manufacturing engineering which deals with some of today's research issues from both a theoretical and pragmatic approach. Research in areas such as Flexible Manufacturing Systems, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Statistical Quality Control, Group Technology, Just in Time Concepts, Material Removal and Forming Technology, Design for Assemble, etc. are examined based on recent literature and publications.
