This course is limited to PhD students who already have a good background in the fundamental and advanced topics related to their research and are interested in other areas not offered in existing graduate courses. Topics will be selected from the general areas of dynamics, manufacturing and design. The course will include lectures, open discussions and directed study. The course content for a student or group will be specified in writing at the beginning of the course and cannot be the same as their thesis research topic.
