The course will review how advanced techniques addressing the Big Data challenges of Volume, Velocity, Variety and Veracity provide a foundation for Analytics strategy in different fields of Management. The course will consider the elements of the state-of-the-art in the Big Data ecosystem that directly implement large-scale Analytics. The topics covered in the course include but are not limited to large-scale machine learning methods, collaborative filtering, natural language processing, network analytics, and analytics for streaming data as well as advanced applications of these methods in business.
