This course is a required component for PhD students who have completed their comprehensive exams. As part of their ongoing research development, students must deliver a formal research presentation within the Smith School of Business seminar series during the academic year following their exams. The presentation provides an opportunity for students to share their research-in-progress with faculty and peers, receive constructive feedback, and refine their scholarly communication skills. The seminar also fosters academic engagement and helps integrate students into the broader research community within the school. Completion of this course is a milestone toward their degree completion and is evaluated on participation and presentation quality. This course is graded on a Pass/Fail basis.
