The course comprises lectures, discussion and student seminars, based on recent literature. Topics encompass medicinal chemistry approaches to drug discovery, receptor theory, mechanisms of drug action, drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics, pharmacogenetics, drug resistance, clinical trials, and regulatory affairs.
