This course will present topics in fundamental physics that have applications to problems in astrophysics. The course assumes the background knowledge of a physics major without requiring any previous study in astronomy or astrophysics. Topics include radiative transfer, fluid mechanics, magnetohydrodynamics, and stellar dynamics. (3.0 credit units)
