The TESL Bridging Course is designed for students who have completed TESL Part 1 or Part 2 at other institutions but require additional instructional hours to meet the certification requirements set by TESL Ontario and TESL Canada. This course provides 25 hours of targeted instruction in TESL theory and methodology to help learners fulfill the 250-hour requirement for Part 2 certification. Participants will deepen their understanding of second language acquisition, communicative language teaching (CLT), and other current approaches. The course explores advanced TESL topics such as classroom management, assessment and evaluation, lesson planning for diverse learners, integration of technology, and inclusive practices that support equity and diversity in the TESL classroom.
