Students will learn to design studies to address practical problems and complex evaluation questions arising in rehabilitation, health and social care settings. Topics include using existing knowledge to frame issues and inform decisions; choosing appropriate and feasible designs and methods; planning data collection and management strategies; and considering the impact of study context on design.
