This course explores the social, historical, cultural, and political events that have shaped Latin America from pre-Hispanic times to the present, as well as important artistic movements in the visual arts, literature, cinema, and music. NOTE Taught in English together with LLCU 248/3.0. Students concentrating in Spanish submit written assignments, tests, and examinations in Spanish.
