An intensive study of living organisms under natural conditions. Credit is based on two weeks of full-time fieldwork with attendant assignments. Transportation and room and board costs are borne by the student. Ontario Universities Program in Field Biology; see offered modules for specific prerequisites. Includes: Experiential Learning Activity Prerequisite(s): at least one course in BIOL beyond the 1000-level and written permission of the Department. Students may take both BIOL 3605 and BIOL 3606 for credit, but neither can be used to repeat a particular module. All day, approximately six days a week.
