This course takes a socio-cultural perspective towards consumption and consumers. A range of interpretive research methods are used throughout the course to allow students to better understand how various cultural, social, historical, and institutional forces both shape and are shaped by consumers and consumption. Precludes additional credit for BUSI 4206 (no longer offered). Prerequisite(s): third year standing, and BUSI 2208 or BUSI 2204 (with a grade of Cā or higher in either). Lecture three hours a week.
