Examines the theoretical frameworks and major issues and debates relating to media industries and institutions in Canada and internationally. Includes: Experiential Learning Activity Precludes additional credit for COMM 3108 (no longer offered). Prerequisite(s): third year standing in Communication and Media Studies (including BPAPM and BGInS related specializations and streams), or permission of the School of Journalism and Communication. Lectures three hours a week.
