A critical examination of key aspects of public relations, including histories of PR, media representations of PR, gender and public relations, and the role of PR in business, politics and civil society. Prerequisite(s): third-year standing in Communication and Media Studies (including BPAPM related specializations), or permission of the School of Journalism and Communication.
