The process of doing basic research in economics: development of the research proposal, finding and critically evaluating relevant literature, model development, methods for locating and collecting economic data, analytical methods, and writing mechanics. This course has a strong practical focus. Includes: Experiential Learning Activity Prerequisite(s): ECON 3020 with a grade of C+ or higher, ECON 3102 with a grade of C+ or higher, ECON 2210 (or equivalent) with a grade of C- or higher, and ECON 3210 (or equivalent) with a grade of C+ or higher.
