An introduction to advanced macroeconomic models. Topics may include analysis of business cycles, inflation, unemployment, economic growth, fiscal and monetary policy, consumption decisions of households, and investment decisions of firms. Prerequisite(s): ECON 2102 with a grade of C+ or higher; ECON 3102 (or equivalent) with a grade of C+ or higher; ECON 3001 (or MATH 2000 or MATH 2004) with a grade of C+ or higher; and ECON 3210 (or ECON equivalent, or STAT 2605 or STAT 3502), which may be taken concurrently with ECON 4021. Lectures three hours a week, tutorials one and a half hours a week. [0.5 credits]
