Basic concepts of epidemiologic study designs and measures; inferences that are fundamental to the identification of causes and prevalence of diseases. Specialized issues within epidemiology including gene- environment interactions and the clustering of specific disease phenotypes. Includes: Experiential Learning Activity Precludes additional credit for NEUR 3003. Prerequisite(s): STAT 2507 and HLTH 2001, or permission of the department. Lecture three hours a week, lab/workshop two hours a week.
