Introduction to concepts centered on Human-Computer Interaction from hardware and software perspectives. Topics include design principles, usability principles and engineering, solving user-centred problems, device interaction, and graphical user interface design (2D and 3D interfaces). Includes: Experiential Learning Activity Precludes additional credit for COMP 2008. Prerequisite(s): BIT 2009 and third-year standing in the IMD program. Lecture three hours a week, tutorial/laboratory two hours a week.
