An exploration of issues at the nexus of philosophy, children’s literature, and childhood studies. Topics may include an examination of children’s books and young adult literature through a philosophical lens, as well as a critical examination of the “philosophy with children” movement. Includes: Experiential Learning Activity Prerequisite(s): 0.5 credit in philosophy or second-year standing in a philosophy program, or permission of the department. Lectures three hours a week.
