An overview of the evolution of psychology, with an emphasis on psychology as a specialized area of knowledge and practice in the late-nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Topics covered may include the history of a particular period, content area, or cultural context. Precludes additional credit for PSYC 2003. Prerequisite(s): third or fourth-year standing in a Psychology Honours program. Lectures or seminars three hours per week.
