This course is designed to be an in-depth seminar examining Indigenous history centered around the theories and methodologies of 'decolonization'. Informed by a selection of readings from Indigenous authors, primary sources, and oral histories, topics include Indigenous/non-Indigenous relations, decolonization, resurgence and traditionalism, Indigenous feminism, land-based knowledge, and Indigenous nationhood.
