This seminar course will investigate the human microbiome and its role in human health. This seminar course will investigate microbes (bacteria, fungi, viruses) and their role in human health. Students will review current research on the different microbial environments within the human body and explore the complex and mysterious relationship struck between ourselves and our microscopic counterparts with respect to health, well-being, and disease.
