The systematic investigation of any subject in the Social Sciences requires fundamental research skills. In this course, students develop transferrable research skills including, how to formulate effective research questions, gather and interpret evidence, reach well-reasoned conclusions, and communicate findings. By participating in active learning classroom sessions, students hone their skills while undertaking a student-driven research project based on a shared course theme.
