Engineering students are introduced to biological levels of organization and biosystems thinking. Specific lecture and lab topics include: cells and cellular processes, DNA, plant biology, pathogens, ecology, genetics and biosystems. Prerequisite: Enrolled in the MSE program. Students who have taken BISC 101 or higher level BISC courses first may not then take this course for further credit.
