Experimental and/or theoretical research in earth sciences and the preparation of a thesis. Selection of a research topic and preparation of a thesis will be done in consultation with a faculty member in Earth Sciences. A research seminar will be delivered at the end of the term. Prerequisite: EASC 498 with a grade of B or better, admittance to the honours program, and permission of the department.
