A political, social, economic, and environmental survey of the lands presently known as Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba from time immemorial to the present day. The course encompasses the experiences of diverse Indigenous peoples, newcomers, and non-humans such as bison as well as their encounters with each other over time. Prerequisite: 45 units, including six units of lower division history.
