Active use of the language in conversation, writing, reading, and culture-based projects at the intermediate low level as defined by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. with a grade of C or better or placement by exam; students with prior knowledge of Spanish are required to take the Spanish Placement Test before enrolling for the first time in a college Spanish course; also taught at Galveston campus Credits 4. 4 Lecture Hours.
