This course examines intellectual leadership and followership. Students consider who counts as an "intellectual leader" and how this differs from expertise, where authority lies in online spaces, and the responsibility of followers to think for themselves. This course is interdisciplinary and engages four literatures?virtue theory, leadership studies, moral psychology, and political theory.
