The course introduces basic principles and techniques of Geographic Information System (GIS) in city and regional planning. The course focuses on developing hands-on experience of GIS applications in planning. It is also designed to cultivate spatial thinking and help students to gain an understanding of cutting-edge geospatial technologies, their capabilities, uses, and limitations for planning.
