This course investigates a given drug by assessing its historical use, clinical properties and risks, its role in American culture, and other issues surrounding its use/abuse in the United States. Students will analyze various sources of information and effectively communicate key messages using a variety of platforms. Prereq: English 1110.xx, or GE foundation writing and info literacy course.
