In this course, students will examine the causes, consequences of and management options for biotic and abiotic plant diseases that impact productivity, food security and food safety, with a focus on fungal, oomycete and nematode pathogens. Lecture sessions focus on disease biology, diagnosis and management; laboratory sessions cover diagnostic techniques. Prereq: 3001 and 3002; or 6001; or Grad standing; or permission of instructor.
