Students are introduced to foundational principles of the Reggio Emilia approach for children from infancy-elementary years. Using these tenets, students will develop a theory of how Reggio principles interface with teaching and learning within an American context, emphasizing the reexamination of teacher roles and the learner through an inquiry-based approach.
