Students learn about the transmission, distribution, arrangement, and alteration of genetic information and how it functions and is maintained in populations. Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for the course, but BIOL 1113, BIOL 1115, BIOL 1213, BIOL 1215, BIOL 2131 are recommended. Note: Students cannot get credit for more than one of BIOL 2340, BIOL 2341.
