Institutional Learning Outcomes: In this laboratory-based course, students practice the techniques used to isolate and manipulate nucleic acids. Emphasis is placed on the development of basic laboratory skills and their application to manipulate recombinant DNA molecules. Prerequisite: BIOL 3130 and 3350 (C minimum). BIOL 3230/4150 recommended.
