Institutional Learning Outcomes: Critical Thinking and Investigation This is an introductory course on computational chemistry with a primary focus on the practical aspects of this subject. Students will be introduced to the methods currently used, the approximations involved and the ways in which these approximations can by systematically improved. Computational chemistry methods will be applied to the investigation of various chemical/environmental problems. Prerequisite: CHEM 3060 (C- minimum); MATH 2120 is recommended.
