In this course, students will engage in simulated cyber incident scenarios to develop skills in incident response planning, detection, containment, eradication, and recovery. Additionally, students will gain hands-on experience in digital forensics methodologies, including evidence collection, preservation, analysis, and ethical considerations. By the end of the lab, students will be proficient in responding to cyber threats and conducting digital investigations effectively. Corequisite: CNCS 2230 (must be taken at the same time as CNCS 2270).
