Institutional Learning Outcomes: Intercultural Awareness Contemporary theory and research are combined to critically examine the complexities of developmental differences in individual children. Practical applications of developmental theory in providing for the social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs of young children are explored. Students develop an inclusive and respectful understanding of the individual differences between children. Furthermore, students explore a multi-disciplinary approach in the exemplary care and education of children. Strategies of support families are investigated.
