Institutional Learning Outcomes: This course deals with basic mechanical theory, techniques and procedures that are suitable to a power mechanics class at the secondary school level. Topics include safety, hand tools, maintenance, disassembly, reassembly and basic repairs. Students complete exercises, assignments and projects suitable to secondary level coursework. Students with a directly related trade qualification are not permitted to take this course for credit. Prerequisite: Acceptance into the B.Ed.
