Institutional Learning Outcomes: Social Responsibility Students are introduced to legal issues and current laws relating to education. Topics include past, current, and emerging legal issues; teacher and institutional liability; students' rights; and teachers' rights and responsibilities. Case studies from the education system will be examined. Special emphasis is placed on the issues relating to safely managing the learning environment and safe work practices. Prerequisite: Admission into the B.Ed. Teacher Education Program
