The course is designed to prepare students to write academic research at a graduate level. Academic writing skills include reviewing research articles, note taking, paraphrasing, summarizing, using direct quotations, and writing for different research genres as well as composition skills such as the flow of writing, the structure of manuscripts, paragraphs and sentences, grammar and vocabulary. American Psychological Association (APA) style citation will be used throughout. Prerequisite: Must be admitted to the TRU MEd program.
